Summary
👤
SeniorRobert Sarkozi is a Senior Software Engineer with 11+ years building industrial and enterprise-grade systems, blending deep C++ expertise with a recent focus on Rust and cloud-native IoT solutions. Based in Cluj-Napoca, he designs and ships edge-to-cloud products—OPC UA components, Rust-based backends/frontends, and AWS QuickStart integrations—bridging low-level interop and modern web/UIs. Comfortable in both embedded and cloud environments, he has led UWP and cross-platform efforts, mentored students and teams, and architects configuration APIs for edgeConnector product lines. A longtime template-metaprogramming fan turned Rustacean, he often wraps C libraries and leverages tools like bindgen, cxx, yew and AWS IoT to modernize legacy systems. Known for attention to detail and a drive to understand problems thoroughly, he combines hands-on coding with a knack for motivating and inspiring collaborators.
