Full Stack Developer
Seattle, Washington, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorRobert Spears is a seasoned React developer with 9 years of experience building modern front-end solutions and mentoring agile teams from a base in Broomfield, Colorado. He combines strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise with practical full-stack experience—spanning React/Redux, GraphQL/Apollo, and backend work in Grails/Groovy and C/C++—gained across product and enterprise environments at Mapleton Hill, ICD, and Oracle. Robert has led customer-facing portals and next-gen rental and retail apps for major clients (Alterra Resorts, Aspen Snowmass) while also architecting internal tooling and automated test frameworks earlier in his career. A former IT support analyst who rose through hardware-oriented roles at Oracle and CA Technologies, he brings uncommon depth in low-level systems and test automation alongside modern web practices. Outside of work he’s a committed guitarist, and he prefers to stay focused on his current projects rather than pursue new job opportunities.
