Top SchoolRobert Starsi is a Ruby on Rails developer and founder with 17 years of experience building full-stack web applications, cloud infrastructure, and delightful front-ends. He solo founded Envirobly, an application hosting platform that emphasizes dramatic cloud cost reductions while owning design, development, infrastructure, and marketing. His background spans freelance work, contracting for Fortune 100 clients, and roles from engineering lead to Toptal contractor, demonstrating comfort across startups and enterprise environments. Equally at home in Rails backends and graphic-rich frontends, he brings a designer’s sensibility to developer tooling and UX. Based in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, he is an avid open-source contributor who blends pragmatic production deployments with infrastructure-focused optimizations. Notably, his hands-on hosting work surfaces an uncommon combination of cost-conscious cloud engineering and polished UI craftsmanship.
