Top SchoolRobert Strobl is a founding engineer and advisor with over 15 years of hands-on experience and a two-decade track record of building more than 50 digital products with distributed teams. Based in Berlin, he founded and led a boutique software house in Malaysia for eight years before exiting the company in 2023, and has since launched and advised multiple startups across sustainability, e‑commerce, and identity domains. He blends product-forward engineering with company-building experience, moving between CTO, strategy, and founding roles to scale teams and ship end-to-end solutions. Notably, his background spans deep technical work—from building bioreactor research prototypes to leading backend architecture—reflecting a penchant for pragmatic innovation in both hardware-adjacent and pure software projects. Colleagues know him as a builder of teams and technology who prefers shipping working products over theoretical designs.
