Top SchoolRobert Voyer is a seasoned software engineer, architect, and leader with 11 years of professional experience building NLP, machine learning, and data-mining systems from research prototypes to production services. Currently leading architecture and engineering efforts at Tyler Technologies in Seattle, he has a track record of scaling teams and systems across startups and established companies including Socrata and Descartes Labs. His background blends deep technical work—as a computational linguist and research SDE at Powerset and Reverb—with management experience running engineering organizations and delivering data-driven products. Trained in both humanities (BA in Romance Languages) and computer science (MS), he brings a rare mix of linguistic insight and rigorous CS foundations to language-centric ML problems.
