Top SchoolRoberto Garrido is a Senior iOS Architect and independent contractor with 11 years of experience delivering production-grade iOS apps for startups and global clients such as Mozilla, EdCast, and RosterBuster. He specializes in Swift and Objective-C, applying clean architectures like MVVM and VIPER to prioritize maintainability and testability across complex codebases. As owner of Irakai Studio and a long-term freelance contributor, he blends hands-on development with architecture and mentorship, including teaching advanced iOS topics at KeepCoding. His background in C++ graphics and augmented reality research gives him a strong systems-level perspective uncommon among mobile engineers, useful for performance-critical UI and multimedia features. Based in Bilbao, he excels at remote, cross-border collaboration and rapidly ramping into legacy codebases to deliver reliable releases. Reachable for teams needing senior iOS capacity, he brings both startup agility and disciplined engineering practices.
