Robin Davis is an experienced user experience leader with 13 years in academic libraries, currently serving as Associate Head of User Experience at NC State University Libraries where she leads content strategy, accessibility advocacy, and user research. With an MLIS from UIUC and an MA in Computational Linguistics from CUNY, she blends library science, data-informed UX, and technical curiosity—augmented by JavaScript training—to improve digital services and inclusive design. Previously she pioneered emerging technologies and online learning at John Jay College and has hands-on experience in web preservation, data curation, and web/graphic design. Recognized by Library Journal as a 2022 Mover & Shaker for accessibility work, she balances leadership and mentorship with practical project delivery. Living in Raleigh with her family, she maintains a personal Github for experimental projects that reflect her librarian’s focus on organization and discoverability.
