Top SchoolRobin Dorstijn is a research-focused software engineer with nine years of experience building full-stack web applications and services, currently combining physics research at Heidelberg University with applied development at Octapharma Plasma. He started in front-end WordPress projects and evolved into modern app development using Angular/React for UIs and Python/Flask on the backend, often owning deployments and bespoke security or performance fixes end-to-end. Comfortable leading small teams or working independently, he has a track record of shipping custom themes, multi-language sites and automation solutions under tight constraints. Analytical and detail-oriented in documentation and communication, he balances formality with an approachable team style—and is an avid Python tinkerer and gamer who brings a physicist’s curiosity to code.
