DevOps Engineer at Status.im
London, England, United Kingdom
Summary
👤
SeniorRobin Percy is a seasoned technology leader and CTO with over nine years of senior experience building cloud-native infrastructure, distributed systems, and developer-facing platforms. As co-founder and long-time CTO of OpsGuru (a Carbon60 company) and now leading technology at Boon Movement, he blends hands-on engineering with strategic product delivery. His background spans Kubernetes, programmable infrastructure, CI/CD, and multi-language development across Erlang/Elixir, Go, Ruby and JVM ecosystems, with deep operational experience on AWS and OpenStack. Robin is unusually pragmatic about tooling—publicly vocal that he "hates DevOps" while still architecting robust, automated pipelines that scale. He has a track record of shipping secure, API-driven systems for large media and enterprise customers and mentoring teams through complex migrations and platform builds. Based in Vancouver, he pairs entrepreneurial drive with a curiosity for crypto, DApps and database internals.
