Top SchoolRocco Diverdi is a Staff Robotics Software Engineer with 11 years of cross-disciplinary experience building automation and robotic systems, currently enabling industrial robots to 3D-print large aluminum rocket structures at Relativity Space. Trained in robotics at Olin College, he blends mechanical, electrical, and software engineering instincts—often favoring elegant, low-weight mechanical solutions informed by real-world experience (he once applied sailing rigging principles to robot design). At Relativity he’s focused on integration across software, hardware, and sensors, helping scale a team from 2 to 8 and moving responsibilities into production support. He started his hands-on career designing and flight-testing tethered drones, and still designs drones on weekends, reflecting a persistent appetite for prototyping and field validation. Based in Greater Boston, Rocco is comfortable at the intersection of design and systems engineering, delivering practical solutions for complex automation challenges.
