Top SchoolRoderick Schaefer is a Customer Engineer at Google Cloud Platform focused on accelerating digital transformation across the public sector, bringing 13 years of hands-on experience in cloud-native architecture, DevSecOps and mission-critical engineering. He led the creation of Haven, a standardized, platform-independent hosting model for Dutch municipalities, and has repeatedly bridged strategy, product ownership and low-level engineering to turn policy goals into running Kubernetes platforms. His background ranges from high-traffic systems and Golang at Schuberg Philis to .NET, Django and Symfony projects, plus independent security research where he built custom fuzzers and hunted logic bugs. Based in The Hague, he combines pragmatic operational expertise with a knack for automating repeatable security and delivery workflows, making him effective at both advising governments and shipping resilient infrastructure.
