Summary
👤
SeniorRodrigo Madera is a seasoned Chief Software Architect with over two decades of hands-on experience across low-level systems and high-performance distributed services, currently delivering mission-critical solutions through Toptal. Born in Brazil, raised in Mexico and steeped in American tech culture, he brings a rare blend of deep systems-level expertise—from microcontroller OS and device drivers to ultra-low-latency financial exchange servers—together with high-level architecture and scalable network services. He thrives on digging into implementation details that materially improve system-wide outcomes, regardless of language or platform. A lifelong tinkerer who built his first commercial program by age 12, Rodrigo is also an engaging teacher and frequent conference speaker who turns complex tradeoffs into pragmatic designs and working code.
