Senior🎓
Top SchoolRodrigo Morais is a Data Engineer in Göttingen with 11 years of professional experience and more than two decades of senior software engineering practice, now focused on data platforms and analytics. He has built end-to-end data ecosystems—Airflow pipelines, Snowflake warehouses and dbt models—while operationalizing observability with Prometheus/Grafana and supporting Kubernetes-based infrastructure. Rodrigo pairs deep software craftsmanship across languages (Clojure, Java, Python, Go) with hands-on quantitative finance experience, having designed and automated algorithmic trading systems and backtests for the Brazilian market. He has led teams to migrate monoliths to microservices, deploy data-driven products, and create reusable tooling to accelerate pipeline onboarding. Pragmatic and curious, he blends domain knowledge in time-series and event tracking (Snowplow) with a track record of shipping production automation on cloud and edge platforms.
