Top SchoolRodrigo Orem is a Senior Software Engineer based in Rio de Janeiro with a decade of experience building full-stack web systems and cloud infrastructure. He has a strong history at VTEX across roles from intern to senior engineer, shipping serverless functions, CI/CD integrations, and custom GraphQL resolvers for e-commerce platforms. Rodrigo has built production CRM and data-extraction tooling using Django, Node.js/TypeScript, Selenium/Puppeteer, and has migrated infrastructure to AWS, showing both backend and DevOps fluency. He also designed marketing and customer-service automations—like a landing page creator and WhatsApp-integrated semi-automatic support—demonstrating a product-minded approach. Early work administering university lab systems gave him hands-on ops experience with LDAP/Kerberos, ZFS, Puppet and incident detection that informs his reliability-first engineering. Colleagues can expect a pragmatic engineer who bridges developer ergonomics, scalable backend services, and practical automation.
