Top SchoolRodrigo Santiago is a seasoned software engineer based in São Paulo with 11 years of professional experience and a 6-year focus on Python-driven backend systems. He has led development of high-impact credit and risk engines that scaled lending volume fivefold and cut non-payment rates from 30% to 12%, driving measurable business outcomes. Rodrigo has strong full-stack and integration experience across Rails, PHP, Delphi and modern CI/CD practices, and has collaborated closely with SRE and data science teams to operationalize models and build reliable GitHub Actions pipelines. He combines hands-on feature work—APIs, background jobs, external bureau integrations—with product-minded improvements to borrower flows and system performance. Comfortable working from startup to product-stage environments, he also brings customer-facing experience from running his own digital services business. Colleagues value him for translating complex domain rules into robust, production-ready services that move metrics.
