Top SchoolRoger Wang is a pragmatic AI and systems engineer with nine years of experience building machine learning platforms and production-grade infrastructure from research to startup. As Co-Founder of Inferact and former Senior ML Engineer at Roblox, he specialized in large-model serving (vLLM), GPU scheduling optimization, ML SDKs, and productivity tooling that improve experiment tracking and resource utilization. He brings research roots in protein folding from the University of Waterloo together with an MS from the University of Washington, enabling a blend of theoretical rigor and production focus. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he favors lean, impactful engineering—summed up by his GitHub ethos "say less do less"—and consistently prioritizes system efficiency over flashy complexity. Colleagues know him for turning costly ML workflows into reliable, repeatable services that scale across teams.
