Senior🎓
Top SchoolRohyl D is a Melbourne-based CTO with a decade of software engineering experience who currently leads Block Zero’s technology efforts, running profitable proprietary trading strategies across multiple blockchain stacks and helping scale the business to $4M ARR. He blends low-level C++ expertise (ex-Unimelb) with practical full-stack chops—Node.js and React for product delivery, C# as a hobbyist pursuit, and working Python fluency—to bridge research, trading, and production systems. Early roles at Optiver and academic research on real-time analytics inform his strengths in high-throughput, latency-sensitive systems and stream processing. He has a track record of teaching and mentoring—having been head tutor for Object-Oriented Software Development—which surfaces in his ability to build teams and documentation as well as code. Colleagues value his combination of quantitative engineering rigor and pragmatic shipping mentality, often choosing the simplest robust solution under uncertainty.
