Top SchoolRoller Angel is a Senior Systems Administrator with over a decade of experience crafting pragmatic, open-source-driven solutions using FreeBSD and Python. He blends hands-on systems administration, automation and technical writing to help teams overcome technical hurdles—most recently supporting infrastructure at Banc of California after a decade enabling research and outreach at UCAR. Roller has a track record of building web tools, livestream workflows, and documentation that scale across diverse stakeholders from scientists to educators, and he runs side projects that automate everyday workflows. An active FreeBSD user and Pythonista, he contributes to open-source projects and has published technical articles and taught workshops to share hard-earned operational knowledge. Colleagues rely on his clear procedures, change-management instincts, and knack for turning exploratory research into repeatable systems.
