Senior🎓
Top SchoolRomain Ly is a pragmatic technology leader and CTO with eight years of hands-on software engineering experience across fintech, big data, and network-level systems. He has progressed from low-level networking and DPDK-based packet processing research to senior engineering and executive roles, most recently leading technical direction at Spense. Comfortable across the full stack, Romain blends systems-level expertise (deep packet inspection, DDoS mitigation, SDN) with product-focused fintech delivery. His background includes a PhD in neuroscience, reflecting strong analytical rigor and a track record of publishing and presenting academic research. Currently relocating to Oslo, he is seeking new full-stack challenges where he can pair his low-latency networking know-how with product and team leadership. An understated strength is his ability to translate complex, research-grade problems into pragmatic production systems.
