Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolRomain Omer is an engineering manager with 11 years of hands-on front-end and team leadership experience, now leading engineering at Betclic Group from Bordeaux. He has driven large multi-studio projects at Ubisoft—shipping cloud and remote play experiences, migrating legacy stacks to modern TypeScript/React architectures, and scaling teams up to ten engineers while coaching for sustainable delivery. Romain combines deep UI engineering (SSR, streaming clients, design systems, testing/CI) with practical product collaboration, often owning the bridge between design, product and ops. He’s comfortable in high-pressure, time-constrained deliveries (e.g., Stadia and One Click Play) and routinely folds testing, performance and release pipelines into the development lifecycle. Colleagues rely on him as a hands-on mentor who pairs architectural judgment with pragmatic execution.
