Senior🎓
Top SchoolRomain Péchayre is a seasoned software engineering manager and founder with 15 years of experience building and scaling product-driven engineering teams across fintech and SaaS. He’s led teams from seed-stage startups to growth at Pennylane, and previously co-founded Yeeld and Eventmaker where he combined hands-on engineering, recruitment, and product ownership to grow user bases and engineer practices. Comfortable shipping in RoR, Swift, Go, React/React Native and operating cloud-native infra (Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), he prioritizes problem-solving over collecting technologies. A strong advocate for culture-driven companies, he instituted remote-first practices, OKRs and Shape Up-style delivery long before they were mainstream. His background in applied mathematics and operational research underpins a data-informed approach to product and forecasting challenges.
