Summary
👤
SeniorRoman Martynenko is a Senior Software Engineer based in London with eight years of experience and a five-year focus on frontend engineering, currently building products at Meta. He has led frontend teams in fintech at VK Pay, launching a cross-platform web and mobile app, modernizing legacy codebases, and shaping architecture across teams. Skilled in high-load SPA development, responsive design, performance optimization, CI/CD and third-party integrations, he pairs a strong UI/UX sensibility with disciplined testing and clean code practices. Roman combines hands-on implementation with tech leadership—mentoring engineers and owning end-to-end delivery in fast-moving environments. His background in management (cum laude) and computer science, plus a practical GitHub presence as a Frontend Tech Lead, reflect both product-minded and technical rigor. Outside work, his eye for design is sharpened by daily UX conversations at home, giving him an uncommon practical edge on user-focused interfaces.
