Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolRoman Melnikov is a pragmatic technology leader and CTO with a decade of experience building and scaling product engineering teams across startups and enterprises from Almaty, Kazakhstan. He blends hands-on software craftsmanship—spanning Java, .NET/F#, JavaScript, Docker and data pipelines—with strategic product and infrastructure ownership, most recently leading tech at TEEZ after CTO roles at Agora Freight and earlier engineering management at Tinkoff. Roman founded and grew the Russian-speaking F# community, directly influencing the regional adoption of F# and increasing job openings for the language several-fold, which highlights his knack for developer advocacy and ecosystem impact. He has a track record of shipping mission-critical systems including logistics platforms, audit automation products, and content distribution pipelines while also participating in presales and technical negotiations. Collected experience as founder, team lead and principal developer gives him a rare mix of startup hustle and enterprise delivery discipline. He studied geophysics and geoinformatics, an analytical background that informs his data-driven approach to engineering and product decisions.
