Senior🎓
Top SchoolRomário Arruda is a founding backend engineer with 8+ years building production-grade AI and automation platforms, currently leading backend and GPU infrastructure for a conversational AI and image-generation companion product that reached 25k+ active users within two months. He specializes in designing scalable systems that blend LLMs, vector databases, and intensive GPU pipelines, and has a track record of cutting costs through query/caching refactors and cloud optimizations. His experience spans end-to-end features from WebSocket chat cores, subscription and checkout systems, to LLM observability and content moderation, plus automation that replaced 30-person teams in insurance workflows. Equally comfortable in Python and Node.js ecosystems, he often stitches together heterogeneous stacks (Postgres/PG_Vector, ClickHouse, RabbitMQ, Redis, Runpod) to deliver high-throughput, reliable services. Based in Maranhão, Brazil, Romário combines pragmatic engineering with product-minded metrics and a knack for turning research-grade ML tech into customer-facing, cost-efficient products.
