Top SchoolRomel Gomez is a full stack developer and founder with 11 years of experience building customer-facing platforms, e-commerce catalogs, and data-driven services across Peru and the U.S. He has shipped production systems using Next.js, React Native/Expo, TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL, and led migrations from monoliths toward service-oriented architectures. At companies like 2ULaundry and Rextie he implemented payment microservices, high-throughput ETL pipelines, and scrapers that turned raw market data into actionable insights, cutting processing time by up to 85%. He mentors junior engineers, drives CI/CD and DevOps improvements, and is comfortable on-call investigating production incidents. A graduate in Informatics and an entrepreneur behind MercadoChevere, he pairs practical engineering with a continual learning mindset influenced by Stoic principles. Based in Lima and open to relocation or remote roles, he looks for opportunities where he can both contribute and grow.
