Top SchoolRomeu Bertho is a DevOps Engineer and software developer with over 10 years of experience architecting AWS-based infrastructure and building full-stack systems for fintech and trading. A Computer Science graduate from USP, he has designed and operated algorithmic trading platforms, order-flow tools, and real-time crypto data bridges that power execution across MetaTrader 5 and major exchanges. At startups and enterprises he’s modernized infrastructure (ECS Fargate, Aurora Serverless, Airflow) and implemented resilient, cost-aware cloud patterns while shipping backend services in Node.js and GraphQL and frontends in React/TypeScript. He combines hands-on trading-system design (including licensed commercial indicators and a Market Golden Trophy for 500+ sales) with production DevOps practices at scale. Known for calm, methodical problem solving, he often bridges research and production—having supported academic algorithmic trading work at USP’s LCR and presented workshops on fintech topics. Based in São Paulo, he keeps exploring HFT, ML-driven strategies and automated trading systems alongside his infrastructure work.
