Top SchoolRomy Ilano is an iOS engineer with 14 years of product and mobile experience and over a decade specializing in Objective-C and Swift, including 3.5 years building a greenfield SwiftUI healthcare app in partnership with Apple. She has shipped connected-device and Bluetooth features for automotive and wearable platforms (Mercedes-Benz, Apple Watch) and rebuilt enterprise apps to reduce friction for clinicians. A startup veteran comfortable with ambiguity, she pairs hands-on coding with practical system documentation, diagrams, and competitive analysis to keep teams aligned. Based in Oakland, she contributes heavily to local tech meetups and community spaces, blending engineering with grassroots leadership (former SudoRoom board director). Fluent in German as well as English, Romy brings a designer’s sensibility from early visual-arts training to craft usable, resilient mobile experiences across industries.
