Senior🎓
Top SchoolRon Valdoz is a Senior Software Engineer and Android specialist with over a decade of experience building mobile and full-stack solutions across Kotlin, Java, C#, and PHP. He has led migrations from legacy LAMP and Java apps to modern architectures including Jetpack Compose Multiplatform, GraphQL, Clean/MVI patterns, and Kotlin Multiplatform, demonstrating an ability to pick the right stack for maintainability. Comfortable across server (Ubuntu/Windows), mobile, and web layers, he combines pragmatic engineering—unit testing with JUnit/Mockito and DI with Dagger2/Koin—with hands-on source control workflows in Gerrit, GitHub, and GitLab. Ron favors close client collaboration and structured tracking (Jira) to align implementation with product vision and reduce rework. He’s delivered production apps using Couchbase, Firebase, and SQLite, and has shepherded teams through performance and architecture improvements. Based in Calabarzon, Philippines, he emphasizes continuous learning and often pairs modern Kotlin tooling with practical migration strategies that preserve legacy investment.
