Top SchoolRonald Findling is a software engineer with a decade of experience building and operating JVM backends, primarily in Java (Spring), Scala and Groovy, for Smarter Ecommerce GmbH. He blends feature development with hands-on operations—troubleshooting JVM services in Kubernetes and Docker, and working with ELK, Ansible and SQL—to keep production systems reliable. His background in bioinformatics and earlier research roles shows a strong analytical streak and comfort with complex data pipelines, from mass spectrometry exports to whole-exome sequencing analysis. Based in Linz, he brings a pragmatic, DevOps-aware approach to backend development and a curiosity for cross-disciplinary problems that informs both code and infrastructure decisions.
