Top SchoolRonaldo Possan is a Senior Software Engineer based in Greater São Paulo with over 17 years working primarily in Ruby and more than a decade of hands-on experience delivering scalable web and API-driven systems. He combines deep backend expertise (Ruby on Rails, Sinatra), multi-language fluency (Python, Java, PHP, Node.js) and databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB) with a strong focus on quality through TDD/BDD, code review and coding dojos. Ronaldo has led architecture and engineering efforts for large clients like Walmart and Thomson Reuters, shipping cloud-native, containerized solutions and integrating AI/ML chatbots in production. Comfortable as both an individual contributor and team lead, he routinely mentors distributed teams and evangelizes best practices such as CI/CD, microservices and behavior-driven development. Notably, he pairs a passion for elegant Ruby and JavaScript code with practical ML integrations and production DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, GCP), making him effective across the full delivery lifecycle.
