Top SchoolRonik Karki is a Clinical Data Scientist with eight years of experience building and deploying end-to-end ML systems for healthcare, specializing in production-grade models that drive preventive care and cost reduction. He has engineered scalable pipelines across Hadoop, Spark, Databricks and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and translated 15M+ claims into high-impact solutions such as a 0.90-precision flu vaccine compliance predictor and a county-level ER visit reduction model with 92% R². Comfortable across data engineering, interpretability and MLOps, he moves projects from feature extraction through deployment (Cloud Run, FastAPI, GitHub Actions) and has applied deep learning to medical imaging with an award-recognized skin lesion classifier. Based in Sydney with a Master’s in Data Science and Innovation from UTS, Ronik pairs rigorous academic training with practical delivery, and brings a knack for reframing clinical problems (e.g., grouping regression by geography) to unlock actionable insights.
