Senior🎓
Top SchoolRory Hartong-redden is a Lead Data Scientist based in Boulder with over a decade of experience applying data science, engineering, and software practices to revenue-critical products. He has led small cross-functional teams to productionize models and APIs—work that directly supported high-throughput billing systems and contributed to an IPO narrative. Comfortable across the stack, Rory pairs rigorous statistical modeling with hands-on engineering (Python, SQL, Docker, AWS) and has previously dipped into Elixir, JavaScript, and Terraform to unblock products in startup environments. His background includes academic research co-authored with Stanford on real-time automotive collision prediction and practical GDPR-aware data engineering for consumer platforms. He combines an MS in Mechanical Engineering with a pragmatic, product-focused mindset that favors testable, maintainable systems.
