Top SchoolRoss Jacobs is a Senior Customer Solutions Engineer at Cloudflare with 11 years of hands-on experience in networking and security operations. He progressed through technical support and network security roles into customer-facing solutions work, bringing practical expertise from Cisco Meraki and prior IT management roles. Based in Austin, he blends mathematical rigor (formal studies in mathematics and computer science) with pragmatic engineering—aptly describing himself as a "herder of 1s and 0s." Ross is comfortable translating complex network security concepts for customers while designing robust, operationally sound solutions. His background includes both lab- and field-level troubleshooting, giving him a knack for diagnosing issues few engineers spot early. Colleagues rely on him for bridging deep technical detail and clear customer outcomes.
