Top SchoolRoss Karchner is an experienced DevOps and information security leader with 14 years of hands-on practice building, deploying, operating, and monitoring production applications, now leading Information Security Continuous Monitoring at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He combines deep operational knowledge from early DevOps and CMS migrations with a focus on automating evidence collection and risk reporting to reduce manual work and speed leadership decision-making. Ross has worn many technical hats—from software developer and scrum product owner to senior IT manager—so he bridges engineering, process, and compliance effectively. Based in Springfield, VA, he pairs a pragmatic, automation-first approach with an uncommon hobbyist interest in game development, which fuels creative problem solving and tooling.
