Senior🎓
Top SchoolRoy Lines is a founder and fractional CTO with 14 years of senior technology leadership, specialising in AI transformation, cloud-native platforms, DevOps/SRE and Web3. He has repeatedly led product and platform re‑platforming at scale—delivering multi-region AWS systems, data-driven marketing platforms and e-commerce lifts across FMCG, QSR, finance and travel. As an ex-Digital McKinsey advisor and former Unilever and Pizza Hut CTO, he blends strategic due diligence for private equity with hands-on engineering to reduce technical risk and accelerate value delivery. He builds AI‑enhanced digital teams using lean startup principles, modern team topologies and platform engineering to compress time-to-market. Roy commonly operates as embedded leadership or retained advisor, preferring to work directly on delivery rather than through layers of juniors. Based in the Oxfordshire countryside, he combines global client reach with a pragmatic, execution-first approach to emerging tech like smart contracts, IoT and generative AI.
