Top SchoolRoy Manigley is a pragmatic software engineer and educator with 11 years of experience building web and microservice systems across Switzerland, from JSF-based prison applications to Spring Boot and Python/Django microservices. He blends hands-on development (frontend Angular/TypeScript, Java, Spring, JS) with DevOps and integrations—Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch—and has a track record as consultant, co-founder and lecturer driving projects from requirements to production. Early roots in customer-facing technical support give him a user-centered approach and strength in cross-team collaboration. Roy enjoys exploring ML, testing practices like TDD, and prototyping tools, which keeps his technical stack current and informs his teaching. He leverages practical experience in server setup, reporting and API integrations to deliver reliable, maintainable systems for clients and internal products.
