Senior🎓
Top SchoolRoy Van Dijk is a results-driven tech lead with 9 years of experience delivering large-scale banking platforms and leading engineering organizations at Rabobank. He has repeatedly scaled teams (30–80 FTE) across the Netherlands and India, shaped tech roadmaps, and driven cloud migrations and API-first products using Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Azure, Cloud Foundry and PEGA for financial crime workflows. Roy combines hands-on delivery with people leadership—coaching engineers, instituting ways of working, and owning finance and governance for his areas—to balance stability, security and rapid innovation. He excels in transforming legacy systems (mainframe, Cobol) into cloud-native architectures and has a pragmatic, improvement-focused mindset that favours engineering ownership and measurable outcomes. Despite a self-deprecating Github quip about "spaghetti," his track record shows disciplined execution across payments, accounts and B2B API platforms.
