Senior🎓
Top SchoolRoyce Joe is a Senior Software Engineer based in Los Angeles with 14 years of experience building resilient, user-focused web applications across startups and mid-market companies. He specializes in modern JavaScript ecosystems—React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js—and has shipped consumer products like txtpad.io, media tooling (SplenPlayer, SplenView), and large-scale platforms including a social network and sales commission software that was acquired. Royce regularly leads distributed frontend teams, integrates diverse third-party services (GetStream, Appwrite, GraphQL) and improves developer workflows with CI/CD and testing practices. Comfortable moving between legacy AngularJS systems and modern React stacks, he pairs pragmatic engineering with a knack for clean UI/UX and performance. An early employee and frequent cross-functional collaborator, he combines product-minded thinking with hands-on coding to take features from concept to Product Hunt launches.
