Top SchoolRu Selvadurai is a seasoned engineering leader and principal engineer with 11+ years building and operating web and mobile products across startups and defense contracts from Toronto. As VP of Engineering at Vintri and founder-level technical lead at multiple ventures, he blends hands-on full-stack development (TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, Python, NoSQL/SQL) with DevOps and high-availability architecture to keep critical apps and databases resilient. He has a track record of rapidly prototyping, market-testing products, and scaling teams across distributed and multicultural environments in eight+ countries. His background spans autonomous systems research, imaging/multimedia tools, and practical DevOps—an uncommon mix that informs both UX-aware interfaces for complex systems and robust backend operations. Clients have ranged from SME to enterprise (e.g., Welch Allyn, Viking River Cruises), reflecting his ability to translate domain needs into production software. He is equally comfortable leading strategy and rolling up his sleeves to ship features that drive user demand.
