Senior🎓
Top SchoolRubem Mota is a senior software engineer and technical leader with 15 years of experience building full-stack and DevOps solutions across enterprise and startup environments. He combines hands-on backend development (Java, Spring Boot, PHP, C#) and cloud-native DevOps (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Prometheus) with experience leading teams of up to 12 engineers and mentoring peers. At Mercedes-Benz and Siemens he bridged product and engineering as a proxy product owner and technical lead, and today drives hiring, guild leadership and platform work at xgeeks while also contributing to Deichmann’s API efforts. Comfortable across databases (MySQL, MongoDB), web servers, CI/CD and automation, he often pairs system administration chops with software delivery to accelerate reliable releases. Originally from a small Portuguese town, he brings a curious, practical mindset—off the clock he trains karate and collects strategy from trading-card games, which informs his collaborative and tactical approach to engineering.
