Summary

Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolRuben Casas is a Staff Engineer with a decade of hands-on experience designing frontend architecture at scale, currently shaping Postman's UI platform. He previously led core web architecture at American Express, maintaining an open-source micro-frontend framework and a centralized React data-fetching library used across thousands of frontend developers. Ruben combines full-stack instincts from earlier roles in omnichannel and enterprise systems with a knack for developer tooling—codemods, bundlers, E2E test frameworks and CSP tooling—that smooth large-team delivery. He champions mentorship and developer experience, reflected in internal advocacy and training that help teams adopt consistent design systems and best practices. Based in the UK, he asks "what if we do this differently?" and then builds pragmatic, production-ready alternatives. Colleagues describe him as an engineer who elevates others while solving complex frontend scale problems.
