Senior🎓
Top SchoolRuben Van Dooren is an experienced Android developer with 11 years in software, formally focused on mobile since 2019 and based in Ghent, Belgium. His Android journey began in 2011 with a self-built video game collection tracker that he still uses as a playground for new technologies, reflecting a continued drive to learn platform internals, design patterns, clean architecture and concurrency. At RMDY he transitioned into Flutter, quickly becoming a solo technical lead able to deliver apps from scratch, and he recently moved to DMVH.eu to continue mobile development. Practical, curious and hands-on, Ruben blends long-term Android familiarity (dating back to Froyo) with modern cross-platform experience, making him effective at bridging legacy knowledge and current frameworks.
