Top SchoolRui Salgado is an experienced software engineer and consultant with 15 years helping European companies design, build, and evolve complex digital products while keeping delivery fast and maintainable. As owner of GoldenLoop Software and long-time partner to firms like Kabisa and ASML, he blends hands-on full-stack development with system design and senior technical leadership, often stepping in to leave cleaner codebases and stronger engineering practices. His work spans startups to enterprise—shipping production services for Philips, rearchitecting high-throughput systems for Brickyard, and delivering cross-platform mobile and kiosk solutions—demonstrating a knack for pragmatic, implementation-informed architecture. Rui stays close to the code, which lets him spot friction early and reduce long-term technical risk while accelerating teams’ ability to iterate. Based in Guimarães, Portugal, he pairs consulting breadth with a product-minded approach and a willingness to contribute beyond engineering to strategy, marketing, and recruitment.
