Senior🎓
Top SchoolRupert Ong is a Senior Software Engineer and designer with 16+ years building enterprise web apps, currently shaping React front-ends and Spring microservices at PointClickCare. He has led team bootstraps and a transition from monolith to a modular monorepo with independent package versioning and deployments, while maintaining a company-wide shared component library used across thousands of senior care facilities. Rupert pairs hands-on UI design—creating interactive SVG workflows and barcode administration interfaces that cut errors dramatically—with backend discipline in automated testing, logging, and monitoring. Based in Old Toronto, he brings a rare mix of agency-honed design sensibility and production-grade engineering rigor that improves usability and operational reliability.
