Ruslan Aliev
Summary
👤
SeniorRuslan Aliev is a Senior ML Engineer with nine years of experience building production-grade AI systems, currently designing large-scale LLM pipelines for GigaChat at SberAI. He blends deep research experience—from state-of-the-art medical imaging algorithms and MeshCNN brain segmentation to vision transformer experiments—with hands-on product work that shipped ML filters used in over a million interactions at Snap. Comfortable across the research-to-production gap, he has repeatedly optimized models for speed and memory (e.g., faster super-resolution pipelines) and led dataset curation efforts for clinical applications. Ambitious about industry-wide impact, Ruslan focuses on LLMs, RAG, and agent-based architectures to turn raw models into reliable, scalable products. An MSc graduate from Skoltech with a strong MIPT applied mathematics background, he pairs rigorous academic training with pragmatic engineering and a track record of making complex models work in real environments.
