Senior🎓
Top SchoolRussell Eng is a Technical Project Manager and data engineer with 21 years of professional experience, based in Seattle, specializing in Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. He designs and optimizes data pipelines and scalable architectures, pairing hands-on Python and SQL expertise with cloud certifications (Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate and Azure AI Engineer Associate). Russell has led cross-functional teams through complex migrations and performance tuning, improving data accuracy across large, mixed relational/dimensional systems. His background includes rebuilding ER diagrams and diagnosing inefficiencies in databases with tens of thousands of tables, as well as building clean, queryable data stores from messy API sources. He brings a practical blend of project leadership and deep technical troubleshooting—equally comfortable presenting high-level solutions to stakeholders and diving into code and SQL to fix root causes. His early international analytics experience and academic training in Informatics give him a user-centered, globally aware perspective on data-driven decision making.
