Senior🎓
Top SchoolRussell Holmes is a seasoned founder and software leader with 15 years of experience building web and enterprise applications, now semi-retired and cultivating new ideas through his company RussonRails. He has deep hands-on expertise in rapid application development across Ruby/Rails, C#, Java, PHP and major RDBMSs, and has led engineering teams through productization of complex platforms like Compass Agile Enterprise. As VP of Engineering at Medecision and earlier as Co-Founder and Director of R&D at TrueNorth, he fused product vision with pragmatic engineering to deliver ERP and healthcare-oriented solutions. He combines startup founding experience (OpenZIS, Billboard.net) with enterprise delivery, comfortable moving from low-level database tuning to rich JavaScript front ends. Based in Florida, he favors practical, shipping-focused development and often leverages multi-language toolchains to solve domain complexity. An entrepreneur at heart, he now focuses on letting ideas flourish while drawing on a broad technical toolkit and a track record of taking prototypes into production.
