Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolRussell Maguire is a Group Lead AI at Cambridge Consultants with a decade of experience applying machine learning to real-world biotechnology and signal-processing problems. An Electronic Engineering MEng from Durham, he rose through hands-on roles from intern to principal engineer, building and deploying deep learning models (including real-time ONNX/Caffe2 inference) and scalable research demos. Russell blends embedded systems and production ML experience—having written high-performance inference servers and contributed embedded C for robotic hardware—with a research mindset honed in Cambridge’s Digital Greenhouse. He is comfortable moving projects from prototype GAN-based super-resolution and generative art to production-grade systems that run on demo hardware. Colleagues would note his mix of practical deployment skills and curiosity-driven projects rather than a purely academic profile.
