Top SchoolRusty Searle is a senior technology leader with nearly two decades of experience driving large-scale IT transformation, currently serving as Senior Director of Enterprise Technology and Innovation at Elastic. He specializes in turning complex vendor landscapes and PMOs into agile, outcome-focused organizations, having led SAFe adoptions across continents and overseen multi-hundred-million-dollar budgets and thousands of blended teams. Known for pragmatic execution, Rusty has stepped into atypical roles—interim CIO and interim Head of Finance for Technology—and helped divest and rebadge large contractor populations to simplify sourcing and cut costs. A hands-on thinker with a developer’s curiosity (Python advocate exploring Rust), he blends customer-centric commercial insight with empathetic leadership and a track record of reducing operational friction and accelerating delivery.
