🤩
RockstarRuth Ivimey-Cook is a versatile software engineer and Drupal specialist based in Cambridge with 12 years of professional experience delivering large-scale Drupal 7/8 projects and custom systems. She combines hands-on development in PHP, Python and C/C++ with architecture and product-management skills, recently designing the data model for a bespoke ERP to mirror existing business processes. An active open-source contributor and long-term advocate of Drupal, she also handles front-end theming (CSS/SASS, jQuery), REST/SOAP integrations, Git, MySQL and AWS infrastructure. Beyond code, Ruth brings editorial and graphic-design expertise—having transformed a membership magazine from 16 to 50+ pages using InDesign and Illustrator—illustrating a rare mix of technical, design and communications strengths. Her 30-year cross-sector background, from academic publishing to finance and industrial control, gives her pragmatic systems-thinking and strong technical writing and training capabilities.
